Compile Your SAHAJ (ITR - 1) Income Tax Data

As you are aware that from the Assessment Year 2011-12, Individuals having Income only from :

have to file their Income Tax Return on new SAHAJ ( ITR-1 ) form. The change has been made to expedite bulk processing of income tax returns by automation. For more information in this regard please see Features of Sahaj forms.

SAHAJ ( ITR-1 ) form is printed in special "drop out ink" on Executive bond paper of specified thickness ( as per the Print Specifications notified by Income Tax Department ). The forms will be available at Income Tax Offices, Tax melas, Tax practitioners etc. Please note that returns submitted on forms printed by any authorised person will not be accepted by Income Tax Department.

This page will help you to compute your tax liability and prepare the information / data to be entered in your SAHAJ (ITR - 1) form. You will have to obtain the form printed as per Income Tax Department specifications from authorized sources and enter the data / information in the form manually.
