E-commerceE-commerce refers to business over the internet.
EditorEditor is a program to create and modify text and other files e.g. Microsoft's NotePad, Dreamweaver an HTML editor, various language editors etc.
eformIt is an electronic form filled and sent by the user over the internet.
E-mailE-mails (Electronic mails) are messages sent and received by user anywhere over the internet. SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is used for sending messages and POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) is used for receiving incoming messages. E-mail address format is id@domain-name. The standard is to use only lowercase letters in an e-mail address.
EncryptionEncryption refers to coding of information for the purpose of security so that it can only be decoded and read by someone who has the correct decoding key. Encryption is used in secure Web sites and also in other data transmission where security of data is important.
End userEnd user of a software program or hardware is the ultimate user of the program or hardware, whose satisfaction is important.
EthernetEthernet is the type of connection computers use in a local area network (LAN).
ExabyteAn exabyte is equal to 2 to the 60th power (1,152,921,504,606,846,976) bytes.
External Hard DrivesExternal hard drives/disks are used for creating extra storage space, for back up of computer data or for making the data portable. These drives usually have USB interface to connect to the computer.
